So I decided to give it a try using tapestry crochet with waistcoat stitches. All crochet with waistcoat stitches except round 1 using single crochet stitches. Since I have the tendency when making waistcoat stitches too tight, during the crochet process, I have to constantly remind myself to “crochet loosely” to avoid any wrinkly appearance. Additionally, the original final product was hexagon shaped. I made this into the round shape. Hook: 1.8mm Thread: Seven different colors #10 threads. Final size: 6.25” in diameter after block.
