Two Color Pyramid Clutch

After completing the clutch, I decided to make this into an educational crochet along project. Material: Yarn : 2 different colors with the same weight. One dark and one light. Light yarn was used about 27 ft (≈8.23m) Dark yarn was used about 29 ft (≈8.84m) Hook : #E (3.5mm) Because we are making a clutch, tighter stitches are necessary.  Therefore, I choose smaller size hook as the yarn label recommended. For example, because I chose 2 medium weight worsted yarns.  Usually the recommended crochet hook sizes from the label are between H(5mm) to K(6.5mm).  However, I used size E (3.5mm) hook for this project. Doily Tjörn 1

One night while traveling in Iceland , we stayed at a guest house.  During the showing around the house by the host lady, I noticed she has many beautiful craft works including some doilies and coasters displayed around the tables in different common rooms and our bed room.  There were a few simple coasters displayed in our room.  They looked almost identical but with different thickness. All of the sudden, I had the urge to duplicate that coaster. To me, the most impressive one looked like crocheted with size 30 thin thread. I decided to take a picture and studied the stitches when I got back home. After we went home and settled down from the trip, I looked around my stash crochet thread, and noticed that I do not have the thin thread like that coast but the classic size 10 crochet thread. I understand with different yarn or thread can make the same product with different visual result.  Nevertheless, it would be fun to figure out the stitches and make the same one.  I figure, if
