Two Colors Diagonal Leaf Stitch Bag

I came across with this bag graph

and decided to make one with my own twist.

I used whatever yarn I have at home.  I decided to try the combination of Bernat Super Value yarn,

color Forest Green (440 yds) and Dark Heather (440 yds).

I also chose to use #F (3.75mm) crochet hook.  Every 2 inches consisted of 10 single crochet stitches

and/or 8 crochet knit stitches.

Honestly, trying different stitch combinations is fun.  So, this was what I did for this bag:

The entire bag was crocheted in the round with waistcoat stitch (crochet knit stitch) combining with

invisible join at the end of each round.  There are mirror images at both sides of the bag.

The straps were done with both basic Romanian cord and single crochet stitches.

I also added a zipper for the bag.

After the completion, the body of the bag was 15.5 inches in horizontal width and 12.5 inches in

vertical height.  The width of the bottom was 2 inches.

It turned out to be a fun project.
